Resources for Young Families

In our story Acts 17.22-31 we find Paul, a follower of King Jesus, telling people in a city called Athens about who God really is. You see, they worshipped all sorts of statues but didn't know the living God.
Why not make a poster listing some of the things you know about God.
The best place to start is always to look at Jesus because he shows us exactly what God is like. It's also good to talk to someone else as well. They might remember things you've forgotten, and you can help them too.
Who do you know that doesn't know Jesus yet? What can you tell them about him? Perhaps they'd like to be a follower of Jesus too?
Why not share your poster with us as well.
Email it to Peter to put on the website.

Stone Decoration

This is a great activity to do as a family, or an activity for older kids to do by themselves:

  1. Find 3 stones from your garden.

  2. Clean and dry them.

  3. Decorate each of the stones with the slogans

Go Tell - Live Out - Be Filled

4.Place somewhere prominent in your house so       you will see them everyday.

   5. Look up each of these bible verses in your            bible (or click on them for a link)

   6. Talk to someone about what you've learnt

   7. Live out what you've learnt

This activity is related to the sermon given by Clive during the service for the 10th May 2020
